There were two gas stations in cities across Napa County selling diesel at the lowest price of $5.29 per gallon in the week ending Feb. 24, according to GasBuddy.com.
The average cost of diesel in cities within Napa County was $5.43 per gallon.
Of the 12 gas stations in cities within Napa County, five offer diesel.
The average price of diesel in California was $5.33, compared to $5.31 the week before.
Drivers across the U.S. have faced a rollercoaster of gas prices in recent months and years. Though the cost of a gallon of gas is dropping, experts suggest they may rise to $4 before the end of 2024.
Many analysts blame the COVID-19 pandemic for crushing oil demand and then oil production and Russia’s war against Ukraine.
