There were two gas stations in cities across Napa County selling premium gas at the lowest price of $5.89 per gallon in the week ending May 11, according to GasBuddy.com.

The average cost of premium gas in cities within Napa County was $6 per gallon.

Of the 12 gas stations in cities within Napa County, five offer premium gas.

The average price of premium gas in California was $5.61, compared to $5.66 the week before.

Experts predict gasoline prices could drop below $3 this year before rebounding closer to $4 by year’s end. GasBuddy forecasted a national average of $3.38 per gallon, down from $3.51. An outlook published in late 2023 suggests that gas rates will continue to fall in 2024.
