On Saturday, Feb. 22, former Sonoma Valley High School standout Max Handron’s current college team, the California Golden Bears, won 5-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Houston Cougars.

The game took place at Evans Diamond at Stu Gordon Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Cougars this season.

The Golden Bears’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 23 at 12 p.m. at Evans Diamond at Stu Gordon Stadium against Houston Cougars.
