On Saturday, March 29, former Maria Carrillo High School standout Olivia Rivera’s current college team, the Cal State San Marcos Cougars, lost 4-2 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Humboldt State Lumberjacks.

The game took place at Bear River Recreation Center. This was their fourth matchup against the Lumberjacks this season.

The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 4 at 1 p.m. at CSUSM Softball Field against Chico State Wildcats.
