On Wednesday, March 19, former Napa High School standout Caitlyn Newburn’s current college team, the Army Black Knights, won 4-3 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Albany Great Danes.
The game took place at UAlbany Field. This was their second matchup against the Great Danes this season.
The Black Knights’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 22 at 12 p.m. at Leadership Park against Lehigh Mountain Hawks.
