49 percent of applicants to Pacific Union College were admitted for fall 2018

At Pacific Union College, 87 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 61 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Angwin enrolled 1,062 students in fall 2018, including 1,058 in undergraduate and four in graduate programs, data shows. 8.8 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

86 percent of undergraduates are residents of California, and 13 percent are residents of other states. 1 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as Hispanic or Latino (26 percent) and white (23 percent).

The school admitted 49 percent of the 1,790 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 18 percent enrolled.
