UC Davis wins 8-2 with Jack Pezzolo contributing in Division I baseball matchup

On Monday, March 23, at 1 p.m., UC Davis Aggies, featuring former Cardinal Newman High School standout Jack Pezzolo, secured an 8-2 win in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Cal Poly Mustangs.

The matchup took place at Baggett Stadium and marked the teams’ third meeting this season. Each team has won one game in the series so far.

Pezzolo pitched four innings, allowing one earned run while tallying three walks and two strikeouts.

The Aggies are set to face the Pacific Tigers next, with the game scheduled for Tuesday, March 24, at Klein Family Field.
