Calistoga-based small businesses can apply for a one-time grant.
The Napa County Small Business Stabilization Grant Program offers direct financial assistance given to qualified for-profit businesses with up to 20 employees that have been greatly affected by the pandemic due to additional operating expenses. The Napa Chamber of Commerce Foundation is overseeing the application process and grants are awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis, according to a Napa County press release.
The funds can be used to purchase consumable supplies, such as personal protective equipment and sanitation materials, counterbalance expenses for interior and leasehold enhancements for social distancing requirements and other business costs.
According to the release, funding tiers are based on the intended use of funds and employee count:
- 1-5 employees – up to $1,250
- 6-10 employees – up to $2,500
- 11-15 employees – up to $3,750
- 16-20 employees – up to $5,000.
