Sonoma State University issued the following announcement on Dec. 18.
CSU Chancellor Timothy P. White had a live-streamed conversation with Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, which included a Q&A session between Dr. Fauci and CSU campus presidents.
On Friday, December 18, Fauci shared his perspective on the challenges and opportunities facing the country’s largest four-year university as COVID-19 cases continue to rise in California. The CSU is recognized as a national leader as the first university system to announce a move to primarily virtual instruction for the 2020-21 academic year, prioritizing the health and safety of its faculty, staff, students, and campus communities during the pandemic.
