The future of the tourism and hospitality industry in the State of California will be discussed in depth during the Virtual 2021 West Federation Chrie Conference scheduled for Feb. 18-20.
The theme of this year’s conference hosted by Sonoma State University is Hospitality Stronger, Together. The Wine Business Institute’s Prof. Angelo Camillo, Chelsea Anderson and Prof. Armand Gilinsky will present a case study in Tourism Development, the Wine Industry Advisor reported. The subject comes at an important time as California and other states attempt to emerge from the financial impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Camilo, who serves as a board member of the Western Federation Chapter of Chrie, will also moderate an expert discussion panel on the topic, "The Future of Hospitality and the Hospitality of the Future." It will feature cross-sectional talks focusing on the interdependency of the hospitality industry with other related industries which help bolster the state’s economy.
