Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the spring season for the Santa Rosa Junior College Theatre Arts Department will kick off with a play performed live online. | Photo by Christin Hume on Unsplash
In their fourth production to be performed live, online, with cast and crew working individually from their homes, the Santa Rosa Junior College Theatre Arts Department will be presenting a comedy this spring based on the Dungeons and Dragons roleplaying game.
Entitled “She Kills Monsters: Virtual Realms,” the play was written by Qui Nguyen and will be directed by Leslie McCauley, the department chair and artistic director, according to a press release from the college.
Performances will be on Friday and Saturday, March 5 and 6, at 7:30 p.m., as well as Friday and Saturday, March 12 and 13, at 7:30 p.m., according to the release. The final performance will be on Sunday, March 14 at 2 p.m.
Tickets to any of the shows can be purchased from the Theatre Arts webpage, according to the release. Patrons will be provided an access code for the performance by email on the day of the show.
