Napa County ranked sixth in California for resident earnings in 2018

Napa County ranked sixth among counties in California by annual earnings per resident, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The median income of Napa County residents was $35,752 per year, adjusted for inflation. It had 49,032 households with a population of 140,530.

The county with the highest median resident income in the state was San Mateo County with $45,862 per year after adjusting for inflation – $10,110 more than Napa County. It had 261,969 households with a population of 765,935.

The county with the lowest median resident income in the state was Trinity County with $21,767 per year after adjusting for inflation – $13,985 less than Napa County. It had 5,796 households with a population of 12,862.
