Lake County issued the following announcement on Nov. 18.
Leadvillians and Lake County Residents - we are at a tipping point in this pandemic. Each new positive COVID-19 case in our community is a setback for not just an individual or family but the entire Lake County community.
We Urge residents to recognize that every single positive case from this point forward is moving our county one step closer to the Stay-At-Home level on the state's dial. We are pressing all residents to do everything in their power to slow the spread of COVID-19.
More than ever, please adhere to the 5 commitments and ensure you're protecting your family, your neighbor, and your community.
