Napa County residents over the age of 75 are now going to be scheduled for vaccinations through the state’s MyTurn vaccine registration tool, and they can expect to receive an email or call as vaccine doses become available.
Emails to residents will come from Napa County staff, such as through coronavirus@countyofnapa.org, vaccine@countyofnapa.org or library@countyofnapa.org, according to a press release from the county. Those who did not register with an email address may receive a phone call instead.
Once contacted back by the county, residents will be invited to register for an appointment on the California COVID-19 Enrollment Portal CalVax, the release states. Residents are asked to respond promptly in scheduling an appointment in order to assist in the planning of clinics.
Residents under 75 who have not yet registered can do so now at myturn.ca.gov, according to the release. Those who have already registered do not need to re-register with the state website, as the county will continue to schedule appointments from its form.
