Mike Thompson discusses collaboration with lawmakers and honors Pearl Harbor victims

Rep. Mike Thompson, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing California’s 4th district, shared several updates and reflections on social media recently. His communications covered topics from collaboration with state lawmakers to community engagement and remembrance of historical events.

On December 6, 2024, Rep. Thompson expressed gratitude towards state lawmakers who participated in discussions with the House Gun Violence Prevention Task Force. He stated: "Thank you to the state lawmakers from across our country who joined @HouseGVP to discuss how state and federal lawmakers can work together to improve community safety."

Later that day, he informed residents of Winters about upcoming office hours intended for community support. On December 17th, his team will be available for in-person consultations. Thompson announced: "Winters Residents: My team is hosting in-person office hours on Tuesday, December 17th from 12 to 2pm! Drop in to discuss with my team any support you may need and stay tuned for more sessions throughout our district."

On December 7, Rep. Thompson commemorated Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day by honoring those who lost their lives during the attack on Pearl Harbor. He remarked: "On Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day, we remember and mourn the 2,403 servicemembers and civilians who lost their lives. 83 years later, we will never forget those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service of our country."
